Blue Sky Studios has evolved over the last 20 years from Stuart Browning inventing products in a small flat, to one of the country’s top “back to school” and gift suppliers.
We develop and supply stationery, luggage, lunch ware and hydration, along with novelty gift to most of the UK’s biggest retailers as well as to independent’s across the UK. We also supply distributers in many countries both in Europe, the USA and worldwide.
Our products sell under our own brands, as well as under an extensive range of licenses including, Harry Potter, Friends, Sponge Bob, Turtles, Game of Thrones, Nerf, My Little Pony, and many others.

Our large in-house design team are working constantly to spot the next trend and to develop new and exciting gifts. We also create an extraordinary collection of products for each of our licence ranges and develop bespoke lines for retail customers.
As a result of developing a product range stretching from augmented reality tattoos through to bluetooth speakers, we have a unique collection of skills which we apply to every new product/license or project.

“PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES SINCE 2002…”
Blue Sky Studios began its journey in a flat in north Leeds in 2002. For the first few years, we sold the rights to our gift ideas to other companies. This taught us that ordinary ideas do not make money, you have to come up with completely original ideas that are commercially viable and popular.
We started manufacturing ourselves in 2006 after being told that an idea was impossible to make… the resulting product is still on sale today. Over the years we developed a network of excellent factories and opened an office in Hong Kong to help manage the production process.
In 2012 we entered the licensed stationery sector, and within 18 months had managed to impress Disney and Hasbro enough with our product range, to be give the opportunity to pitch for, and win, the rights to sell Star Wars and My Little Pony.
We are now the UK’s leading distributor of licensed back to school products, which covers stationery, luggage and lunch-ware. We sell these ranges alongside our ever growing, in-house designed range of novelty gifts.
The company today is still based in Leeds, but has moved to Wharfebank House, Otley where our head office is located. We have a office in London and recently have moved our Hong Kong office to Ningbo in northern China.
